The primary textile associated with Afghanistan is embroidery. At a later update, examples of these will be shown, many of which look like patchwork.
Korak (curtain) : This site shows a beautiful example of this traditional patchwork and explains that traditionally, a korak is used inside a yurt (the tent used by nomads).
